We’re thrilled for our film to be included in the 2026 Environmental Shorts Block.

It’s a full circle moment for us. ‘MAN or MOUNTAIN’ will screen at Gig Harbor Film Festival, the town we chose to be part of four years ago, the town that became the wind in the sails of this film.
In Gig Harbor, we found our Executive Producers who made this production possible, and our Casting Director, who brought us beloved Seattle theater actor, R. Hamilton Wright, for his debut lead role in a film. Many generous Kickstarter supporters are here in town as well, funding our Washington story and talented PNW film crew.
This festival offers an exceptionally awesome venue for screenings at the Galaxy Theatre. We’re incredibly excited for festival goers to feel this film’s dynamic 5.1 surround sound design by Bad Animals with music by Matt Boyer + Massy Ferguson, and witness the striking cinematography by Chris Koser and VFX by Mike Oakley, all colored by Jordan Branch.
We hope to celebrate with you there.

About ‘The Great Outdoors’ Shorts Block: The Pacific Northwest is home to some of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring natural wonders that exist. These shorts feature the woods, rivers, and mountains of our region, and the PNW-ers who can’t stop exploring them. Run time is 57 minutes.
